From all of us at VR Kingdom, we hope that you and your families are keeping safe and well. 

We understand that COVID-19 has impacted and affected all of us in different ways and we expect that many of you are looking forward to getting as back to normal as possible, once this passes.

We have been working towards making our venue, equipment and environment safe and friendly once we are able to reopen. 

We have enhanced our already comprehensive and stringent cleaning, safety and hygiene protocols considering the COVID-19 pandemic and are currently implementing the following hygiene and safety measures for sanitization and sterilization.

We apologise for any delays or inconvenience as a result of these procedures.

Limited People and Sessions

VR Kingdom Socially-Distanced Players

Max 20 People In Venue & 4 Players Per Game (Socially Distanced)

We will limit the number of people in the venue to 20 people at a time. Our games and experiences are currently limited to 4 players per game or experience, so this will be the maximum numbers that we accommodate each session.

Your group or team will not need to directly interact with any other group unless you both choose to.

50% Capacity & Reduced Number of Sessions for "Clean-Up Breaks"

We will also need to reduce the number of sessions so that we can have sufficient time to clean the equipment after each use. 

At this stage, we will be running at a maximum of 50% capacity and will consider increasing this as things progress and we can ensure that we are maintaining a safe and hygienic environment.

Temperature Check

38˚C or Above Not Allowed

Upon check-in all customers will have their temperature checked. If anyone has a temperature of 38˚C or above, or they are demonstrating flu-like symptoms, they will not be permitted into the venue and will be asked to leave and encouraged to stay home.

Wiping Equipment After Every Use

We are implementing robust cleaning measures to ensure that our equipment is cleaned after each use and safe for the next participant. This includes, wiping the equipment down after each use using non-toxic, biodegradable disinfectant ensuring that the equipment is thoroughly disinfected. These are limited but not limited to

  • Headset (Lenses, Nose Section, Face Pad)
  • Speakers and Head Strap
  • Hand Controllers
  • Backpacks and Haptic Vests

Where applicable, wireless adaptors, hand and feet trackers, guns and any other external areas that come into contact with other participants, are also wiped after every use.

After disinfecting, the equipment will be wiped down with paper towels to wipe up any remaining residue.

Wiping Reception Desk and Check-In Stations

Heavy Touch Areas such as Reception Desk and Check-In Stations are wiped down after each use.

Protective Measures

VR Mask and Amenity Kit

Disposable VR Headset Mask

All guests will be provided with disposable VR Headset Masks for those that would like an extra barrier of protection and would prefer not to put the headset on directly.

Permission to Wear Medical Face Mask and Plastic Gloves

Guests will be permitted to wear face masks and gloves if they choose to.

Amenity Kits

We will also have these available for sale special amenity kits which will include a face mask, pair of gloves and a 50 ml personal bottle of hand sanitiser.

Disposable Utensils Wrapped in Plastic

The Cafe Area will be wiped down after each use and disposable plates, cutlery etc. will be used so that they are single use only and do not need to be cleaned.
